As mentioned in class and by mail, you should take advantage of our long break to do this review activity. 
You'll find all the answers in the Language Summary section at the back of your book, and the code in the top right-hand corner of each question tells you exactly where to look. V stands for vocabulary, G for grammar, and RV for real world. These are to be consulted in order to check your answers, not to provide them.
Remember to take written notes of any doubts you find in this review, and we'll try to clarify them in class.

Speaking	We practiced ex. 7 page 73 in pairs. We spoke about the correct words/phrases in Ex. 2.b)  page 74 using "as, like, such as, so, such". We  connected the new vocabulary to 5 words/ phrases about cinema. We also connected the new vocabulary to the name of 6 films. We chose in pairs the correct word/phrases in ex.4 a) and we compared the answers from Ex. 5a). We worked in pairs in a crossword. One of us had to explain the meaning of the new vocabulary and the other one had to guess the word and fill the gaps.
Listening	Ex. 2 a) page 74 (Unit 9B)  from the Teacher CD.
Reading	- - - -
Writing	We wrote 5  words/ phrases related to cinema to talk about it. We wrote the name of 6 films to link them with the new vocabulary. After that we filled the gaps with "as, like, such as, so and such" in Ex. 5a).
Grammar	Ex. 3 a) & b) Unit 9B. Check in Grammar 9.2. Page 148: "as, like, such as, so, such"
Vocabulary	We finished the unit 9A about "What was it like?".  You can have a look at Ex. 1a)  . Where you can find the most important new vocabulary of the Unit.
Other	Tom promised us to post the right answers of the exercises from the Unit 9A (Workbook)
Homework (Unit 9C, page 77)	We have to read the text from the 9C Unit. We have to think about Ex.4 Complete the homework with Ex. 5 a) & b)

Speaking	The only specific exercise about speaking was exercise 2b (page72) but we checked all the exercises talking, as usual
Listening	--
Reading	We read both texts on page 73
Writing	--
Grammar	Exercises 4 and 6 on pages 72 an 73
Vocabulary	We started the unit 9A, which is about the cinema, so there's many new vocabulary, so i suggest to take a look at pages 72 and 73 (Tom recommends it too) the main vocabulary exercise is number 1, but both texts have some interesting words
Other	We played a game in which we had to match the end of a sentence with the begining of the next one
Homework	For next Friday 15 we have to do the exercises Tom posted on the blog last week and exercise 7 on page 73 (we all have to do both, A and B)
