Bram Stoker’s Dracula

I've used this beautiful film in class many times, so don't worry it's not a typical horror story. The actors speak slowly, so it's much easier to understand than the average movie. I hope you enjoy it.

Progress Tests dates and evaluation system.

Hello, everyone.
Although we've just started our course, I already have dates for our progress tests, which represent 5% each of your total mark. The dates are fixed, and we cannot make any changes, so please note them in your diaries now to avoid complications later.
I've also included a breakdown of the evaluation system which I explained in our first class, just in case you don't remember all the details.

Progress Tests dates and evaluation system for General Courses

As last year we will have two progress tests in the English section. Each worth 5%

S groups - S12 dic

Progress Test 2 (after approx. two thirds of the course)

Evaluation system:

Final exam (compulsory) = 40%

Progress Test 1               =   5%

Oral Project                     = 10%

Written work, tasks, homework = 30%

Welcome to our blog.

Welcome to our blog everyone, We'll be using it to keep you informed of what's happening in class, to upload homework, and to suggest useful activities or web sites to help you improve your English.
I've posted the class update for Friday 23.10.15, and each class I'm going to ask one of you to do the same for that day's class, using the same format, so that the people who can't make it to class still get a reasonably clear idea of what we did, and what the homework is. This will be rewarded via the evaluation of your 'participation' during the course
Feel free to upload anything you found useful or entertaining to help you practise your English.
Looking forwrd to seeing your contributions.
Tom.
